| I wonder if Sogavare and his opps seek permission from the people of solomon Islands who urge them to table the Motion of no-confidence against the PM? Or they learnt that price of crude oil has gone down??? |

That is exactly what I thought. Soga knows better! he knows he can't win but he is trying to tear this government's reputation down for future convenience! _________________ For of all sad words of tongue or pen,

| If this is true, i wonder as well, what would be their reasons? Basically, its the number game i suppose. I believe had the Opposition learnt that they have the number i don't think they'll withdraw the motion. Therefore, any justification for the withdrawal irrespective of numerical power is irrational and nonsense. In otherwords, the Opposition should have never think of it at the first place. |

Soga is not one to back down so easily. I guess he just weighed his odds of winning this time and saw no point in going ahead with the mnc. Or there may be other reasons only him and group knows. I wont be surprised if he tries something else next time. _________________ One's Life is a journey in a world where one's destiny is influenced by one's surroundings |

| Whatever the reasons there were, which prompted the Opposition side to withdraw the MNC, I think one thing is for certain, and that is that the prayers of Christians through out the Solomon Islands, for stability and peace in our country, was answered. May all Christians continue to pray for our country and its leaders, and may God bless Solomon Islands. |

Sogavare had tainted his reputation over Julian Moti and his radical approach to RAMSI. His stubbornness almost brought Solomon Islands to the brink of chaos...
Sometimes Politicians turned to the civil society for support, but during his time, he never listened to anyone. He didn't listen to the Civil society represented by various NGOs, instead he lied to them! He promised these NGOs that he would consider their request over Julian Moti. A week later, Julian Moti was sworn in as the Attorney General.
He obviously lost the confidence of elected members (his supporters jumped ships) and the people of Solomon Islands. _________________ For of all sad words of tongue or pen,
